2020 NPAL Virtual Youth Summit

The National PAL invites you to join us for our first Virtual Youth Summit on August 18- 20, 2020 from 12 PM-3 PM CST! We will be hosting our Virtual Youth Summit via Microsoft Teams. We have an exciting line up of national speakers from across the country, including popular Instagram dancing officer Anthony Johnson (AJ). Microsoft leaders will be teaching youth how to build and code their own apps, as well as other speakers covering a range of topics. Sign up here:

The Austin Police Department (APD) and Police Activities League of Austin (PAL), in conjunction with Strategies for Youth (SFY), are presenting the Juvenile Justice Jeopardy (JJJeopardy) games for Austin-area youth. An interactive game derived from the TV show, JJJeopardy teaches youth how to navigate interactions with peers and police on the streets and school, and to be aware of the short and long-term implications of arrest and court involvement on their future educational and employment opportunities.  

Cops and Kids Fishing Day

Join us for our 2nd annual cops and kids fishing day brought to you by the Blue Line Bass Club. Free to register and open to the public. Kids will take home their very own fishing pole after catching and releasing fish.  Lunch will be provided!

If you see Austin Police officers hanging out with thousands of kids this summer don't be alarmed. We will be playing games, eating popsicles, and talking about Policing throughout the summer at many different summer camps, church camps and clinics throughout the city.  Hundreds of kids each week will get to have positive and fun encounters with Police Officers!!!! If you would like Officers to come to your kids summer camp or events please reach out to us!

Come out this Saturday for the Austin PAL Boxing show!!! It's FREE entry, the concession stands will be run by Central Austin Kickball and they will keep all of the proceeds raised!!! We are pleased to help Central Austin Kickball reach their fundraising goal of $9,000 to take their girls to a kickball tournament in Brownsville!! Come out, watch some great amateur boxing, and purchase some food to help a local organization raise some funds!Doors open at 1pm, the first bout will start at 2pm!!
